Industry Day - Contractors Invited to Dialog on Getting a New Jail

The Houghton County Jail Committee is hosting an Industry Day, inviting interested contractors and the public to give input to the Committee and the Commissioners about how to address the need for a new county jail. Participants are expected to review posted background material and bring their expertise to discussions on how to build a new jail at a cost that the public can support.

Please join us Wednesday July 15th from 5pm - 7pm in the Franklin Township Hall.

Tuesday and Thursday's are open for tours of the current county jail by appointment. Contact the Houghton County Sheriff's Office for a tour!
